In Memorium

After a long and hard battle with Parkinson's Disease, Bert Nakano passed away Saturday, Sept. 27, in Gardena. He is survived by his wife Lillian, son Erich and his wife Sandra and his two beloved grandchildren Alina & Gabriel, along with many relatives and good friends, all who will miss him deeply.

The memorial services for Bert will be held at the following:

DATE: Saturday, Oct. 4, 2003
TIME: 11 a.m.
PLACE: Sozenji Buddhist Temple, 3020 W. Beverly Bl., Montebello

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that you send donations to Nikkei for Civil Rights & Redress (NCRR) at 231 E. Third Street, G104, Los Angeles, CA 90013.
